Molten Truth Podcast

The goal of The Molten Truth podcast is to showcase people who have been through the fire of adversity and rather than letting events defeat them, shaped themselves into something stronger.
Although I still very much hope to provide a safe space for those who have been scammed to share their stories, as well as their friends/family to share their observations and experiences and professionals to weigh in on how best to help, I have concluded that Voices of the Scammed was too specific a niche to attract the people I hoped to interview.
There are events of our lives, some large, some small and how we choose to be shaped by them is entirely up to us. I have spent much time in recent months thinking about the terminology often used in reference to these events - most specifically in reference to being scammed. People who have been scammed are frequently referred to as victims. I have come to believe that, regardless of the life event, a person is only a victim if they allow those events to leave them defeated, shamed, silenced.
By that definition, the first time I was scammed, I was a victim. I did allow myself to be silent and only about 3 people knew that I had been scammed. The second time, I fought the instinct to remain silent. First, I sought to understand - after creating rules for myself to avoid being in the same situation - how I could possibly been manipulated again. I was angry at myself, angry at the scammer and determined to figure out not only how to recognize the signs of manipulation for myself and how to help others recognize the manipulations.
Based on my in-depth analysis, I wrote a book and thought my work was done. Then when I saw a new picture of the person who scammed me with a new name and failed to get their new profile removed from Facebook, I began visiting groups with other scam survivors and soon realized that well meaning friends and family don’t know how to effectively help loved ones who might be undergoing manipulation from a scammer. I also realized that there is no “safe space” for those who have been scammed and rebuilt their lives to share their stories which is what led me to the decision to launch a podcast.
Although I have decided to broaden my podcast to focus on anyone who has had a life changing experience and chosen to let it empower them to make positive changes for themselves and others, I would still like to include those who have been scammed or professionals who help prevent or recover from scams.
If you or someone you know is interested in being interviewed for the podcast, please ask them to reach out to me and/or to fill out the attached form.
Estimated launch date will be May 31, 2025 but my hope is to record several episodes in advance, so please reach out!!
